Today we visited Sentry Hill Facility for Elderly Living in the morning. It was designed after the style of the grand hotels of the 1890's. We were fascinated by the grand and comfortable environment, and the standard of services povided. It provides different living facilities, depending on the level of care needed by the residents. It varies from independent living, assisted living, residential care, to memory impaired living.
In the afternoon, we visited Durgin Pines Nursing Home and Skilled Care Facility, which are run by the same institution as Sentry Hill. A day centre for children was situated at the same building. The kids there not only bring joy to the elderly there, but to us as well.
